Omnibus Orders

Re: Omnibus Orders
We have continuing large dockets on Thursday. So again, if you have an agreed Omnibus Order, please get it signed and to the Criminal Clerk NO LATER THAN 2 p.m. the Wednesday just prior to the applicable Thursday docket, to have the case stricken from the docket. If the DPA and Defense agree, the Defendant's signature can be waived.
If a case is on for Pre-Trial Management, the case already has an Omnibus in place, nothing has changed, and the dates set for Readiness Hearing and Trial work for the parties, we can strike the hearing set on Thursday. To do this, send an email to the Criminal Clerk NO LATER THAN 2 p.m. the Wednesday just prior to the applicable Thursday docket, include both counsel, state the agreement to strike, and it will be removed from the docket.
You are strongly encouraged not to wait until 2 p.m. on Wednesday to submit your Omnibus Order as sometimes there is not a judicial officer available to get the order signed before that deadline, and thus, they do not end up being stricken. To make sure a judicial officer is available, it is suggested that you get the order to the Clerk's office no later than 12 p.m. to allow time for processing.
Please pass this along to anyone that I may not have included.
