Local Rules

Superior Court operates generally under the Rules for Superior Court approved and published by the Supreme Court. Those rules can be found on the Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) website HERE.

The Superior Court for Cowlitz County also has created a number of local rules that only apply in the Superior and Juvenile courts of Cowlitz County. Those rules are also available on the AOC website HERE. We have provided a direct menu link to those rules for your convenience.

 

Local Forms

Superior Court also provides to the public a collection of forms that are used both to comply with the local rules as well as some optional forms to assist you in processing your case through our local courts.

Before you proceed with filing or responding to a case filed in Superior Court for Cowlitz County, it is a good idea to familiarize yourself with all of those rules.
